Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore has been a Hollywood author and actress for a long time. She is also acclaimed by critics. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest of three kids who were born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Her father was a professional who frequently moved the family. It was a struggle to make or keeping her acquaintances. After her family relocated to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. in Theater. Moore was a graduate of college with honors in New York and started her career as an off-Broadway actress when she moved into New York. In the episode The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first appearance on the screen. She took on the dual roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her breakthrough. It ran through 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in 1990 when she starred in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she described later as an awful low-budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The first was critically-acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for it. Moore played her first big performance in Safe, a 1995 film. Steven Spielberg, who was the director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, and one of that year's biggest earning films, chose Moore as a lead actor. The actress received an SAG Award nomination for Magnolia during 1999. The Hours, a 2002 film that she co-starred in alongside Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore has appeared in numerous productions and films. Moore has appeared in several films and television programs. The most recent role she played was when You Finish Save the World 2022. She has established her career in Hollywood in addition to being a successful children's book author. She released her first book Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and was a N.Y.T. bestseller. It became a top seller, and was later transformed into a television show and musical. Also in 2013, Moore wrote My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a well-known actress and novelist. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 is a father of two with Moore. Moore's life revolves around her families, work and friends.
